High Performance Bonus Money

Scoring beyond the 70th percentile allows access to substantially larger reimbursement.

For clinicians/practices that have a composite score over 3% and under 69%, there will be no negative adjustment, but a possible positive adjustment. Since bonuses for this group will be determined based on a “zero sum” method, the more clinicians that do well and fall into this category will reduce the amount of the bonuses for others in the group.

Clinicians/practices with composite scores greater that 70%, will be able to access a separate $500 million fund set aside for high performance and are guaranteed a minimum .5% increase in Medicare reimbursement.
